Fisherman Emanuel Henriques has always been mesmerized by the oceans. He started diving at the age of 11 and was astonished by the range of sea-life he encountered. Through fishing, he feels a deep connection to nature, and is able to support his family. However, Emanuel realised he and his community needed to change their approach to fishing to ensure future sustainability. He believes in treating the ocean like it’s his own home, and that by doing so the seas can be replenished.
